The Bitter End
Spartacus: Gods of the Arena tells the tale of the original Champion of the House of Batiatus. Gannicus is the first gladiator to become the Champion of Capua with his sword skills only matched by his thirst for wine and women. Young Batiatus is poised and ready to overthrow his father and take control; he will betray anyone and his loyal and calculating wife Lucretia will be at his side the whole way. Together they stop at nothing to seize power and bleed Capua dry.
